Krenula je evakuacija izgladnjelih stanovnika ukrajinskog grada Oleškog koji drže Rusi, u sklopu zajedničke operacije zaraćenih strana, prve takve od početka rata prije 4 godine i osam mjeseci.

Prema dogovoru o prekidu vatre u kojem je posredovala američka prva dama Melania Trump, u grad je stigao konvoj autobusa i građani ako žele mogu otići. To je dosad neviđeni primjer suradnje sukobljenih strana.

527 residents of Oleshky are expected to be evacuated to Ukraine via Belarus.

No, na drugim su mjestima nastavljene borbe. Rusi su u noći na petak napali sedam regija, uključujući glavi grad Kijev i Dnjipro na jugoistoku zemlje. Moskva je objavila da je tijekom noći oborila 1043 ukrajinskih dronova.

Ruska povjerenica za ljudska prava Jana Lantratova je u Oleškom izjavila da se skupine ljudi ukrcavaju u autobuse, neki prema Rusiji a drugi prema Ukrajini. Evakuacije je potvrdio i jedan ukrajinski zastupnik.

Humanitarian Mission in Oleshky: Delivering Humanitarian Aid to Everyone in Need

ℹ️ We are currently in Armiansk, working alongside Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova and coordinating further steps within the framework of this mission. Journalists from three countries have also joined us to cover the mission.

Everything has now been prepared to a high standard. We are delivering humanitarian aid to the residents of Oleshky. Our main task is to ensure that this assistance reaches every person in need. Particular attention is being paid to older people, persons with disabilities, and anyone who is unable to care for themselves due to their health condition or other circumstances.

Twenty-five buses with a total capacity of 750 passengers have been prepared, along with ambulances for people with limited mobility.

❗️Another equally important priority is ensuring that civilians have the opportunity to leave the city. Everyone who wishes to leave Oleshky will be given the opportunity to do so safely. At the same time, those who decide to remain will be able to stay and will receive all the necessary humanitarian assistance.

At this stage, it is equally important that both sides observe the ceasefire.

Zasad se ne zna koliko je ljudi izabralo tu opciju ni koliko ih je odlučilo ostati.

Govoreći pred novinarima zajedno s ukrajinskim kolegom Dmitrom Lubinecom, Lantratova je rekla da su u grad stigle i higijenske potrepštine, lijekovi i medicinska oprema te gorivo.

Teško stradali grad ruske su snage zauzele ubrzo nakon što je Moskva u veljači 2022. pokrenula invaziju na susjednu Ukrajinu.
